Left handed too. When it comes to light and no lasers: 10:30 with a pressure switch mounted at 12:00. I have really liked using an X300U at 12:00 on SBRs though... (I know, not a choice).

Lefty. Tailcap activation. I mount lights at about 11:00 with activation by the support hand (right) thumb over the top rail.
11 with tailcap activation, 1 with tape switch

Right handed shooter, no laser.
1st choice: Scout light at 1:30 with remote switch on top rail.
2nd choice: Scout light at 10:30 with no remote switch.
I am right handed and mount the light at 10:00. I shim the mount until the brightest part of the light beam covers my shot group at 15 feet.
Right-handed, I currently run a Streamlight TLR-1 HL on 45* Offset M-Lok. Just a tad bit barrel shadow.

Only lefft-handers are in our RIGHT minds though... :p
Southpaw, laser at 12 (top) with its tape at 3 rear controlled by base of thumb/palm, pushbutton light at 3 front with thumbrest between the two position my thumb just a twitch away from Light It Up. Admittedly, this setup is for a Discreet Carry AR pistol meant for hot-loaded Mk 262, I would probably set up a patrol rifle differently but it seems to be a good ergonomic fit.

I only have tailcaps so left side 10:30. But also in front FSP at 12:00 and I have one Colt 10.3 6945 at 12:00 bedside boomer.
So for me, 10:30 or 12:00
