Thanks for the video link. I have one of the Colt XM177E2's on the way.

I might have to build an XM177E2 upper copy.

I got to shoot that rifle at Ken’s house a couple weeks ago. Very nice copy and a lot of the parts in that rifle are from original forgings from that era from Colt.

That's very cool. Were you out there the same time as Markwell?

Nope.
I was out there on the 8th.
Spent the day shooting and then to dinner.
Ken is a unique soul and an unbelievable source of information. An all around great guy.

I think my friend Markwell already gotten back home on the 8th. Yes, any time spent with Ken is like gold. Just sit there and soak up the history of firearms.
