Land incursion looks imminent
Palies gotta Pali. The US/UN dump so much money on them hadjis that they have to launch rockets on a regular basis. Otherwise they run out of room to store em.
Not like they gonna use the money for anything else, like actually benefitting their population or something crazy like that.
The Israelis might as well bulldoze the whole area to create a buffer zone...great job Hamasasses, but they don't care
Would this have happened if Trump was still president? I know they've been going at it for 100 years but the news seemed to credit their pause to Trump.
Yeah no kidding, Jews v Philistines goes back to what? 12th century BC? Predates Christianity and Islam. Not that the Palis are actually the same people, the Assyrians pretty much eradicated the Philistines, but it's the basis for the name and the straw man the Palis try to hold up as their ancestors.
The rockets pale compared to the massive violence by Israeli arabs in mixed arab and Jewish towns today.
We will never lose Israel due to rocket fire, but if we don't put down the violence in the cities we are in big trouble. This is the war of 1948 part 3.
The media are not reporting the small war .
The only way to win in the middle east is not to play.
And “Peace on Earth” was all it said...
It's the Middle East. They've been fighting and killing each other for 5000 years.
The worst thing the USA ever did is pick a side.
So we needed to, because it was the Cold War and Russia had already picked a side and it was called Egypt. Carter tried to bring everyone to the peace table but the Egyptians decided to whack their own guy instead.
But really it was a mess starting in 1945 when NOBODY wanted to make a place for what remained of the European jews and even though there already was a zionist movement, it really picked up steam when the European war concluded.
I hope Israel starts stacking bodies and leveling city blocks of their enemy’s.
Launch a rocket from there, great we will destroy the whole area.
No, we picked the right side. Israel has been and continues to be a strong ally. They have often supported us when no other country would and have provided us with intelligence when no other country could. In the Arab Israeli conflict, one side has the moral high ground and one side does not.
We picked the right side.
I agree 100%.
Trump cut the money off for the Palestinian Authority and we had quite.
Biden gives them a ton of money and the violence starts.
The USA is broke, I wish Israel would tell the USA keep the money you need it worse than we do.
But what started out as a strategy during the cold war, is still in place. The dumbest thing Israel ever did was the Camp David accords with Egypt. But who knew the USSR was going to disappear. Egypt with out the USSR could not fight a war with Israel. The aid to Egypt today just keeps the military in power, they are not popular with the people of Egypt
Israel is pretty corrupt. Them snitching out a common enemy is not “being an ally”. IDGAF what they do as long as it doesn’t cost a single US dollar or US life.
They got 18 year olds. They have quite a defense complex. Get yo Jihad on, son.
Echoing Uni-Vibe, picking a side was stupid as hell. They have been fighting there since literally Bible days and they haven’t gotten sick of it yet. Nothing new.
I value yoni’s perspective more than everybody’s chest thumping over a country you don’t even live in. He is absolutely correct. We’re broke. Stay out of it.
And miss me with “God’s chosen people”. That’s BS. Either we’re praying to the same god and He loves us all as His children or we have different gods. I don’t think He really gets off on us killing each other. Maybe it’s because I was reading the Book of Esther last night on my phone because I was kinda bored and sorta morose. It always kinda cheers me up. Stopping a war with love.
I firmly believe life would be enhanced if everybody got a life and didn’t start shit.
Just saying.
So no, I won’t get oorah about children on either side losing arms, parents, vision, hearing, or life in a rocket attack all because someone got up in their feelings.
The thing is though that Pali rags are genuinely nasty MFers. Not every single human, but as a general rule. About a decade ago, during a relatively peaceful stretch some outfit did a survey. "What do you want most for your children?". Number 1 with a bullet, "To kill jews and be a martyr." Really F'ing great parental values there. F those people. They have the leadership they want and deserve. Worthless, murderous scum leading simply worthless nasty people.
We were picking sides before the Soviets and Cold War. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't (Looking at you, Iran...). Barbary/Libya, Oman, pre-WW1, but WW1 really kicked off the let's-get-our-business-on-in-the-middle-east tour. WW2 ramped it up fo sho, and the 10-D chess with the USSR after WW2 kept us hopping. I am not sure, though, who made more of a mess in the ME, us or the Brits.
It’d be nice if it were that simple. I’d sure hate to be held accountable for what other Americans said in a survey to Cosmo.
After 9/11, instead of being mature and measuring the totality of it all and complicity; everybody was going on this whole “kill em all” spiel that I didn’t fully agree with then and that in 20 years everybody can agree was pretty cringe.
You have two nations that for all of their similarities also simply don’t get along. You don’t know all these people. I don’t care about Hamas or someone tooling up voluntarily. My heart lies with the person that simply wants to be left alone. They simply had the misfortune to be born in a problematic area.
It gripes my ass to hear grown men say “Well they should just leave” with an arrogant smugness.
Could you uproot your whole life to please “coolgunguyscreenname666” if your locality went to holy hell? No? Okay then.
As I have gotten older the things that I think are worth killing or dying for have greatly diminished. You would literally have to be coming at me for me to take you seriously.
So I am simply not going to be too hawkish here. I would hope people come to an understanding before it gets out of hand
I just read a transcript of part of Netanyahu's speech. If it's real, and if he delivers, it's gonna get ugly.
I said that after 9/11. Well, not "kill 'em all," but the terrorists and the people who harbor them? Hell to the yeah; I say it now.
You are correct that it's so easy to sit here 10,000 miles away and simply say "well, move..." because you are right in that it isn't nearly that easy. Too fat and smoke? Well, just diet, exercise, and stop smoking. Yeahhhhhh.....
As a citizen of country with a plank in its' own eye (we've funded and planned our fair share of genocide for sure...), I have chosen to support Israel in spite of its' problems, mainly because as much of a regional pariah as they are, they (and Jordan) are the most stable players in the game for that area.
I hoped I fought my last fight, and it would not make be sad to have fired my last bullet (or to have had the last one fired at me, more importantly), and I also hope they can cool their jets and let calmer heads prevail and not allow this to turn into "a thing."
For as long as there are humans on earth, there will be conflict in the Fertile Crescent. They'll still be fighting when we're nothing but dust.
The following is what I read:
*Breaking news:* Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu just made the following speech in front of the Knesset:
----
To Ismail Haniya, and the leaders and operatives of Hamas:
We, the people of Israel, owe you a huge debt of gratitude. You have succeeded where we have failed. Because never before, in the history of the modern State of Israel, has the Jewish people been so united, like one person with one heart. Everyone in Israel, from Left to Right, secular and religious, in united in the knowledge that there is no accommodating an enemy that is sworn to the genocide of our people.
And now, as you continue to launch deadly missiles indiscriminately, intended to maim and murder as many civilians as possible, while you take cowardly refuge behind your own civilians - you continue to inspire us to hold strongly onto our unity. Whatever disputes we Jews may have with each other, we now know that we have one common goal: we will defeat you.
But we are offering you now one last chance. Within 24 hours, all rocket fire - and I mean all rocket fire - will cease. Completely. Forever.
I give you formal notice that our tanks are massed at the Gaza border, with artillery and air support at the ready. We have already dropped leaflets over the northern parts of the Gaza strip, warning civilians of our impending arrival, and that they should evacuate southward, forthwith. If you fail to meet our ultimatum, we are coming in, and, with God's help, this time we will not leave. Every centimeter of land that we conquer will be annexed to Israel, so that there will *never* be another attack launched at our civilians from there.
Even so, we will continue to keep the door open to allow you to surrender gracefully. The moment you announce that you are laying down arms, we will halt our advance, and there we will draw our new borders. If you continue to attack our citizens, we will continue to roll southwards, driving you out of territory that you will never again contaminate with your evil presence.
It pains me deeply that your civilians will be made homeless. But we did not choose this war; you did. And if our choice is between allowing our citizens to be targeted mercilessly by your genocidal savagery, versus turning your civilians into refugees, I regret that we must choose the latter. If only you loved your people as much as you hate ours, this war would never have happened.
To the rest of the world: Israel has tired of your ceaseless chidings that we should "show restraint". When you have your entire population under constant missile fire from an implacable enemy whose stated goal is the murder of every man, woman and child in your land, then you may come and talk to us about "restraint". Until then, we respectfully suggest that you keep your double standards to yourselves. This time, Hamas has gone too far, and we will do whatever we have to in order to protect our population.
Hamas, once again, I thank you for bringing our people together with such clarity of mind and unity of purpose. The people of Israel do not fear the long road ahead. Am Yisrael Chai.
I hope that’s accurate.
I ain't gonna go too far down the rabbit hole here, but I ain't too sympathetic towards the average Joe Pali. They are pretty well indoctrinated and propagandized from birth of hate Israelis and furthermore all jews. That part I blame on the terrorist leadership. Thing is though, average Pali supports em. They have an "all or nothing" mindset just like the most radical of the terrorists. "From the river to the sea" means no Israel. The Palis have rejected every opportunity for peace. Hell, even when countries take them in as refugees they try to overthrow those governments and claim even more (Jordan, Lebanon). Why the hell do you think NOBODY will let them move. Not Egypt, Syria, Saudis, nobody wants em. They are a good talking point for other muslims, but most of the other Arabs actually kinda despise em.
Half of the PA budget is doled out in pensions for "soldiers and security forces". That includes "martyr" pensions, payments to prisoners and families, paying old terrorists, ... gotta love what that US money is getting spent on. Best way to support your family is to be a suicide murderer, one of the highest paying gigs in their economy.
The Palis have a loooong track record to prove exactly who they are. Maybe we are supposed to pretend to forget, not me. The pressure should be on them to come to the table, hat in hand, and legitimately pursue a lasting solution. The Israelis have come to the table, and they get told to stick it.
Hell, I believe that if the Israelis offered to pack up, leave, and never return, the Pali rags would probably come up with more demands.
On April 7th Biden restored $235,000,000 to the P-Stains... Now they are sending rockets into Israeli towns.
Coincidence?
Why are we giving anybody any money at all? Least of all the Middle East?
If anything people need to pay us back right now.
We can’t even give American people who could use some help right now anything more than what is tantamount to a K Mart gift card but we can give a cool quarter billion to the PNA to start more shit?
My patriotism, much like my faith, continues to get tested and strained.
What's interesting, but little known, is that Israel's first sugar daddy was the USSR, i.e. Stalin. USSR was the first nation to recognize Israel, and the first to sell them arms, a large load of Russian and Czech stuff. Later Israel switched to the West (UK, France, USA) as USSR became more interested in promoting Arab interests.
Stalin's primary goal was to F over the UK in Palestine and create a ally in the middle east. Here's an unbiased history of the events.

Palestine is like a renter you have that decided to quit paying and just say your house is now his and he has a dirty judge in a far left town on his side and his neighbors and everyone is on the palis side and how dare you try to harm his poor little child just trying to go to school you horrid person
That letter ? No idea but remember seeing reading stuff like that before and I am pretty sure he is not writing letters like that :)
