Does anyone have any photos or information on the new Palmetto State Armory 1911? I only found out about it today. If they build it with the same quality and low price as that of their AR, they should be a hit.

Here is the only photo of it that I've been able to find so far:

Looks nice, nothing super fancy but I would like more info.

Probably rebranded RIAs
No. Made in USA, Nowlin barrel, and they feel very nice. The triggers felt ok. Some of my pics from SHOT. I have more to share later when I find the time.
Edit: both are cerakoted.

I managed to find another photo and, for some unexplained reason, it looks much, much nicer in this one:

No one can resist that billboard space...
I'm always interested in new 1911 offerings. There are quite a few 1911 makers, but the list of companies making them right and at a decent price point is a very short list. Or, even just the list of companies making them right, period, is pretty short.
Frames look like STI cast frames. Might be wrong though.
How much for one? I am looking at a rock island vz rail version for $600 right now. These look nice, but its whats on the inside that matters!
well maybe that means they will offer 1911 parts for the builders
the bottom one looked nice
Will there be a railed version?
Has anyone heard anything on price? Hopefully it is in line with all the rest of PSA stuff....if it is they will have a winner.
Just based on my own experience and maker's reputation, I would be highly skeptical. Best to let someone else be the guinea pigs here. If there was ever a more appropriate time for "you get what you pay for...."
a PSA branf for 1.5k well it definately isnt made by them than
That price seems a bit steep, is it confirmed?
The two I saw at the show which are the ones in the last couple of pics, are their higher end models. They weren't sure of pricing details for them yet, but mention around 1k for the higher end ones.
Perhaps the "list price" will be $1K and the thing will always be "on sale."

List price $1,000, street price $800, sale price $500.
I'm just making that up, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Sorry for the lack of solid information on the 1911s. The ones we took to SHOT are not production models, and we will likely not be releasing a large number at this time as they require a lot of work due to the parts requiring hand fitting. Our team in charge of this project have put a lot of time and effort into it and we feel they have done a great job.
Stay tuned, more information to come soon.
A few more photos and a little info:

I appreciate you chiming in and wish you all the best. Would love to see the full specs on the production models.
And if I may be so bold as to request subdued role mark, smaller or even omitted? This is just one opinion, but i think role marks fall perfectly in the "less is more" category.
I'll be on the look out when these start to roll out.
Anything new on these since last year?
really nice
