Iron sight for Aimpoint twist base

I hope the optics section is the place for this question. I have an Aimpoint 3X magnifier with my Aimpoint Pro RD. I seem to recall Aimpoint making or thinking about making a iron sight designed to fit the twist off base? Does anyone make such a thing?

That mount is ok for a magnifier but I wouldn't put irons on it...there is a lot of play for my tastes...
