Thụy Sĩ

Nếu không là công dân châu Âu, ứng viên muốn xin visa lưu trú dài hạn tại Thụy Sĩ phải sống trong nước ít nhất 10 năm. Người đã lưu trú 10 năm cũng có thể xin nhập quốc tịch nhưng phải chứng minh khả năng hòa nhập với xã hội, cho thấy mình không phải là mối đe dọa an ninh.

The answer can depend on your states laws. The lower is considered the firearm and a transfer may be required. If it’s not required and personal sales are permitted, do what you feel comfortable with. Personally, I do an FFL transfer. The $15 fee is worth the piece of mind but you may have to eat the fee or increase/decrease your price to accommodate the cost to the buyer. Some FFL’s charge as much as $45 in my area though.

Agree with the above, federal law says personal sales are allowed between unlicensed persons as long as they both are both residents of the same state and the buyer is not a prohibited person. The key here is to look up what your state allows. Some states require private firearm sales to go through a dealer or they have a process by which a background check must be ran on the buyer before a legal sale can take place.

If you live in a state where ftf sales are allowed, I’d require the following of the buyer for my peace of mind:

-21 yrs old or older
-able to show proof of residency (drivers license)
-able to show a CCW permit (this may cause issues, but someone that has a valid one of these has been vetted at some point by big brother and they passed that vetting, generally proving they are legal to own a gun and would be able to pass an NICs check)

-totally optional, but prudent-a signed bill of sale with gun serial # and buyer/seller info recorded

What is this 21 stuff? Federal only prohibits an FFL from selling to 18-20 year olds. Unless your State prohibits it, you can sell a handgun or receiver to an 18 year old.

Depends on the state. In NY, it must go through an FFL. It could be that way in other states.

Maybe ask a reputable dealer if you cant find it online. Ran into this issue here last week and had to look it up. In PA for example, it is my understanding that face to face is ok on everything except firearms (pistols, SBR, SBS), which can be transferred to an 18+ person at a sherriffs office, unless that person is your son, daughter, grandson, or granddaughter, then it is face to face.

Here in our semi free state of Florida FTF sales are fine for hand shot or long guns as long as 18 years of age. IMO as long as both are adults it no ones business except those involved, but obviously each state can be different.

Your actually not obligated to ask anything. You’re not an FFL and not subject to those requirements. What you cannot do is sell to someone you know is a felon or can’t possess a firearm. You don’t have to ask.

You also don’t have to do a bill of sale, or verify anything. I have done dozens of face to face sales and have never done a bill of sale, mainly because I haven’t murdered anyone with my firearms.

I only sell to folks that can provide a valid CCW. That makes me at least feel better about knowing they were clear within the last couple years. I also always do a bill of sale in case it gets used to commit a crime and I get to be one of the stopping points on its track back to origin.

I feel if you sell a firearm without a paper trail you are setting yourself up for trouble if someone later uses the firearm in a crime. It can be traced back to you, and that could be trouble for you.

Manufacturers and distributors have to keep records of where they ship firearms; the FFL holder has to keep a copy of the 4473 for every firearm transferred. If any of those entities go out of business they are required to ship their records to ATF. When LE comes across a gun used in a crime, they contact ATF. ATF contacts the Mfg, then using the info gained from the Mfg they go down the line until they get to the FFL who sold the weapon. The FFL has to provide them a copy of the 4473. If the FFL is out of business, the ATF has the FFL's 4473's in storage and they have to manually locate them, but it can be done, there been a paper trail since 1968.

For that reason, if I had to fill out a 4473 on a firearm, I have proof of who I sold/gave the firearm to.

I know someone who sold a weapon which was later used in a homicide. He told them it was a private sale along with some other details and the BATFE couldn't have cared less. He wasn't the subject of the investigation.

I'm more concerned with something that doesn't have a suspect, only a gun with no good prints on it left at the scene.

I agree not a likely scenario, but possible.
