I have an email out to Jon Dufresne to see if he can shed some light on this reticle deal.

What cartridge/load is the Steiner set for? I'm in the south-eastern part of Mississippi. Besides going to a 1,000 yard range or shooting down a power line, my long shots would be 300-400 yards since I'm surrounded by piney woods. I have an Accu-Point 1-4x with BDC, but haven't had time to mount it or try it out. Will I be ok, or do yall think I'll be wanting more magnification?
I don't do any competition shooting anymore. Just home range stuff. Mainly IPSC full-size paper targets, 2/3 IPSC steel, and 10" gongs.
Looks like there's a connection between Burris and Steiner. They both have the same address in Greeley CO.
Beretta Holding owns both and a few other well known names.

How has this held up? Any bright sun reticle 1x pix?
Other questions:
-How is the mechanicals? Zero retention, tracking fidelity, etc?
-Where is the glass sourced? I know it's made in CO, but is this US ground, LOW, German, or Asian?
I have been using mine for some time in the bright Texas Sun and have had no issues with the brightness.
Everything about it is crisp, Everything has a solid feel to it. I have not had any issues with Zero. I am very ruff on my rifles. I have about 3k of rounds with it now and everything is lasting as it should.
No idea on the glass. It is very clear, I would say clearer then my Vortex Gen II Razor.
Do you know what the hash marks represent?
