Does anyone know where I can get a Firing Pin Retaining Pin for my AR-10? I have searched the entire planet and there are none to be had.
My rifle is down without this $4 part.

Here the cotter pin type http://www.selwayarmory.com/cmmg-ar-...eel-black.html and https://truenortharms.com/ar15_defau...ining-pin.html. Here's The split pin type https://moriartiarmaments.com/ar-10-...d-bolt-carrier
I believe you can use either with the 308 bolt carriers.
Thank you.
I was able to order some pins from Selway. Hope they work. Every other source I have searched is sold out. True North is a Canadian company and will not export those dangerous pins to the USA. The link to Moriarti does not work.
It really sucks that my rifle has been down for the last two weeks because of a $4 part.
I actually got two as extras recently, can’t for the life of me remember from where.
Regardless, I have these, and this place also has a couple left.

I see you’ve already ordered, but sharing in case someone else is looking.
Go to Home Depot and get a pack of cotter keys and cut to length. I lost mine and that is what I did and it works fine.
Take your bolt with you to mate the key size to the hole in the bolt.
In Nam when the troops lost them or they broke they used the cotter pins from hand & smoke grenades as a field repair. When Rock Island found out about that they changed to cotter keys for M16.
