Isn't this basically a clunkier, more complicated version of what an Elcan does, except without all the complexity? And people complain about an Elcan being heavy...
I say, hurray for innovation which usually starts with something that is not all it could be. It's a brave thing to bring it out and it's clever as hell. Sometimes you don't know you need a thing because the thing does not yet exist. They brought out something new, kinda rare in this biz. Hats off to them, maybe I don't need one desperately (or...... DO I?) but hats off in any case.
I imagine it'll just be a digital zoom like a camera before too long.
