Did KAC upgrade their SR25 mags?, KAC koolaid only

I walked into my LGS the other day and saw some SR25 mags for a decent price. So I grabbed two to add to my stash. I noticed the finish was uniquely more uniform and seemed to be changed ever so slightly for the better. Hard to accurately describe, but almost looks ceracotish vs bare steel. The stamp on the edge is usually very vague and you might question, did I get a real KAC mag or some Chinese knock off its so.... Well, they were always real deals but the stamp was crooked and very hard to see if you could see it at all.

If you never had the older ones, you wouldn't notice or this would mean nada.

What Im seeing is all cosmetic and its all very minor, but makes one wonder if anything else is upgraded? Jack?
