S&T Firearms Training and Consulting LLC Pistol/Carbine Oct 4-5 Walnutport PA
In conjunction with the Lehigh Township Police Department S&T will be holding a Pistol I class on October 4th and a Carbine I class on October 5th. Class will be held at the Lehigh Township Police range at 1043 Municipal Road Walnutport PA and will start at 0900 on both days. Cost is $175.00 a day or if you want to attend both days the cost will be $300.00.
Pistol I is designed for the individual who has a good understanding of safe gun handling and is not a class for the neophyte.
Topics covered will include:
Safety Brief
Fundamentals of Marksmanship
Gear selection
Moving and shooting
Use of cover
Close Quarters Shooting
Multiple target engagement
Equipment required will include:
Handgun and at least 3 spare magazines
Holster and mag pouch
350 rounds of suitable ammunition
Eye and ear protection
Clothing for the prevailing weather conditions
Water and lunch/snacks
Topics for Carbine I on the 5th will include;
-Safety brief
-Brief review of fundamentals
-Load/unload
-BRM/Zero
-Reloading/Malfunction clearance/Transitions
-Use of cover
-Shooting on the move
-Pivots and turns
-Multiple target engagements
Equipment required:
Carbine with sling, at least three magazines
Method to carry spare mags
350-400 rounds of carbine ammo (NO steel core please!)
Pistol and holster, 50 rounds of pistol ammo
Eye and ear protection, and anything else you feel you may require (hat, knee pads etc)
Start time is 0900 and we will be done by 1700.
Again, cost is $175.00 per day or $300.00 for both days.
