Northeast Ohio (Cleveland) Shivworks Training Group

The Cleveland Shivworks Training group will be having its monthly session on Sunday January 18th from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Gracie Humaita - Cleveland. This training will be conducted by Brad Kidd of Steadfast Defense LLC.

Sessions will be held once a month with the focus of the group covering varying topics from threat recognition and threat management for the purposes of avoidance/de-escalation to learning/applying Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) based skills within the context of self-defense against a criminal assault in a weapons-based environment

Cost: $20 ($10 for active Gracie Humaita - Cleveland members)
CLASS SIZE RESTRICTED TO A MAXIMUM OF 15 PARTICIPANTS
Participants should wear comfortable workout clothes, bring water, mouth-guard & groin protection (optional) and A GOOD ATTITUDE
NO LIVE WEAPONS ARE TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE TRAINING ENVIRONMENT.

Do you guys take newbies? I have a lot of firearms and edged weapons training, but zero MMA training. I'm not in great physical shape, but have no problem taking a beating, as long as learning occurs.
