A 1970 Chevelle SS LS6 454 cu in was $3k in 1970.
The Fed minimum wage was $1.60.
Not sure how much primers were but probably along those lines.
Reloading your own doesn't save much unless you're loading alot of 9x19 but it saves plenty in other calibers, even at .10 a primer.
Oh yea the really good "OLD" days,LOL ! I started loading in 79 after getting out of the Military,,.99 cents per 100 pack! I can imagine what they cost in 1970! :)
