Coming soon. 9mm that accepts the P07/09 family of magazines. If the ergonomics are as good as my P01 I'm in for one. Looks like a Thanksgiving day debut.

Thank God they kept with an existing magazine. I'm looking forward to this one as well.

Any more details on this?
Is it a striker fired compact?
I didn't even consider a striker fired pistol from CZ. That would be VERY interesting. Looking at the pictures more closely I think it is. No image of the rear of the pistol. Trigger, what you can see of it has a Glockish look to it. The pin in the upper portion of the trigger may indicate a trigger bar like most striker fired pistols. It looks like it has an ambi slide release and ambi magazine release.
Maybe it is the Czech interpretation of the VP9?
Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree that it's a new striker gun. And if the "c" model is similar in size to the 07 then it will be close to a G19.
According to a Friday night live video from last night. John McPhee (former Unit SGM) who had design input for the CZ scorpion and Bren, confirmed it was a striker fired gun.
Meh.
Not really interested, but if it pushes the price down any more on P-07s I'll probably have to buy one of those.
I hope it is awesome. But dang, CZ has a huge catalog.
While I'll admit I'm interested, I'm going to wait awhile and see how it shakes out. The only ding against it so far that I can see (and I'll admit it's minor) is the mags it uses, p-07/09 mags that were expensive. The last time I looked, ( and it's been awhile)I think close to $40 apeice. I can get Mec-Gar 18 rnd mags for my SP-01 with a anti fricton coating on them for $25, hopefully, Mec-Gar will step up to the plate and offer a less expensive mag. This thing is supposed to be out after Thanksgiving, so, I guess we'll see the good, and bad of it. Being a CZ, I figure it won't have any problems, other than the pricy mags.
Always liked the CZ-75 series but could never warm up to their plastic guns even if they worked great. The bit of frame we see makes it look more ergonomic and I like the texturing/raised blocks. Replaceable back-straps could be nice if they contour them correctly.
Thanks for the head's up.
