I see that Midway has Hornady 6ARC brass in-stock (at this time), $50 for 50 pieces.
just bought some 6ARC Hornady "Black" ammo for $1.17 per round (plus S&H, tax, etc). Pricey brass.

To me, it seems that the success of the round will come down to if there are enough competitors that use it in (probably) semi-auto rifles. While it could be really cool in a ultrashort HOWA action, there are plenty of rounds for short action rifles that don’t face the restriction of the AR15 mag well.
Now a bolt gun and AR15 set up for the same rounds and mags would be sweet, in general. What you need is a competition like a 2-gun match where you need rapid fire and long range precision and there is an advantage to using one round and one mag.
