One should be aware that Baer has two styles of rear sights. One is their "Bomar" adjustable look alike and the other is the Novak fixed sight style, they are not the same and not interchangeable. Harrison offer both.
He built two 1911s for Chuck Petrie. One was a Colt stainless Rail gun and the other was a full house retro style Colt series 70.
Harrison FCG parts are ichiban/tops.
Easiest, best quality hammer/sears out there to get a top notch 1911 trigger.
How difficult are they to fit? Especially if one is mostly concerned with having a safe gun and not so much having a great trigger?
Also, for anyone who knows: Are Harrison triggers any more difficult to fit than any other 1911 trigger (other than the overtravel stop)?
Using the Harrison "True Radius" sear and one of John's hammers, I have simply "dropped in" parts that resulted in a safe and very good Trigger job.
A bit of tweaking the sear spring, reducing hammer hook height and secondary angle on sear results in a superior trigger job.
His triggers, with "blind" overtravel adjust require moderate fitting.
