Looking for info on handguard fitment with the KAC Mod 2 gas system.

I picked up a KAC Mod 2 barrel and bcg recently and an looking for a handguard that will work with the Mod 2 gas block. I saw that the URX 3.1 and DD RIS II need a small modication because of the Mod 2’s gas block height. And I believe that some skinnier handguards can make contact with the gas block. I’m not against using the URX 4, just looking at options. If anyone with experience could share, that would be appreciated.

If they made an 11.5” one, I would never touch another handguard.

The URX2,3,3.1 and the RIS can be made to work. DWilsonmfg is solid to do it.

URX2 is the sexiest imo but I like pic rails.

Urx5 with the cross bolts and 416 notch is probably the best iteration but it’s doubtful those will ever see the light of commercial release.

It’s really hard to beat the URX4 and if you’re already using the mod2 gas system I’d say it’s a no brainer.
