What are the pro's and cons of .300BLK vs 5.56 in a 16" non supressed upper?

Did you watch the video? He compares 10.5 barrel performance with 110 Blk against Mk 262, BLK 2,200 fps ME 1,185 and 5.56 2,400 FPS ME around 970 with a 30 cal bullet 33 grains heavier. If shooting at 600 I would rather be using 5.56 with a longer barrel, but 300 and in with a 10.5 and a good bullet 300 is a winner IMO.

This. If you specifically want a 16" AR that can do more than 5.56 (for instance, let you hunt in states with caliber restrictions, and extend your maximum effective range), 6.5 G is a better candidate than .300 BO, IMHO. I looked at this recently and went with 6.5 G. They're *both* boutique calibers--gotta accept reality either way--but 6.5 gives you the most ballistically.
