I have the double star aluminum kit and it’s really nice.
As a bonus, it comes with the correct non castle spanner nut, which can be tough to find.
The only knock I have against it is the tube is black and not grey.

Thanks for the headsup on that--two things, one they sound like a really helpful source for spares on C.'s C8 (and C7 if we build her one rather than just a "second URG for her lower") and two someone here, IIRC 26 Inf, had suggested a setscrew in the hole as an alternate to staking.Quote:
