I was looking at a cheap G22 police trade in as a host for a .22 conversion. Now, I will wait and see how the unpaid beta testers do.
At some point, it really will need a red dot and that might not be possible with the light slide.
The mk iv video made me want one with a cheap red dot on it.
Now I just want a mk 4 and a SW 41
I'm glad I didn't read this thread until today, cause I'd have been quite disappointed also. I agree that either this or a conversion on a dedicated frame makes more sense that running a .22 LR conversion on the primary's frame.
For those complaining of the 10 round capacity, feel free to name one established .22 LR pistol with anything but a single stack magazine (and ~10 round) capacity.
I don't shoot them nearly as much as centerfires, but I thoroughly enjoy my three non-Olympic rimfires, and put more rounds through the blued MKIV Target than the others, cause it's so damn easy to clean.
