Got my Brownells XM16E1 Clone, love it.

Finally got my retro itch satisfied for the moment, when Brownells had their sale going on had to go for. Love the XM16E1 rifle for the history. Originally wanted do do a M16A1 build with original parts as much as i could but after seeing the cost and other projects I had in mind decided to go with Brownells option seeing how they got better with making them more period correct. Only one issue I had with it was was the pivot pins, safety selector, charging handle, trigger guard are black instead of the retro gray but cannot complain. Minor issues that can be fixed easily and have no regrets. Can’t wait to take this puppy out to the range.
