Looking for an old thread here regarding recommendations for an M4

Hello, I remember a while back someone posted about specific components to buy to get a quality rifle for the money. I'm sure there are quite a few of these here, but this thread had a post where someone actually listed out exactly what to get (a lot of BCM parts). Would someone be able to point me to this thread? it's for a friend who's starting out with AR's/M4's. Thanks in advance!

What parts are you looking for?

Someone recommended the best components to get for assembling a complete rifle for the cheapest possible price. I remember certain things such as BCM lower kit, etc. I just wanted to pass the link to my friend, as he's looking for a rifle without breaking the bank. I'm trying to at least steer him towards buying quality.
