hi guys! just sort of updating my info on this thread. when i first posted, was working as an ER physician. nowadays, i am a Forensics/Medical Examiner- actually, we are called Medico-Legal Officers here- for the Philippine National Police.
Late to the party but nevertheless...Working as a FF/EMT in an urban city in CT..In the process of creating an IFAK for the range and hiking trips.
Former U.S. Army Paratrooper / medical specialist in the 90's. Earned EMT cert. from A.I.T. / paramedic cert. while stationed at Bragg in "96". Got out in "99", been a paramedic since. Was a USAR medical specialist (county), SWAT medic (county), instructor in alphabet classes, Scaled down alot since my fiance died in 2013. Just a street medic / F.T.O. now, just north of Philly, P.A. New guy to the forums here. Any questions, ask away.

I'm small potatoes compared to some of the heavy hitters in this thread, but I have 17+ years as an EMT-B with a variety of extra certs (ITLS, TECC, TACMED, etc) and also spent 6 months overseas somewhere hot and sandy in an armored ambulance responding to terror incidents. No military background.
