Private Long gun sales in MASS

What are the rules for private long gun sales in mass ? I found info on handgun sales but what about a long gun, is there paperwork involved or registration btwn two private citizens ? What are the rules ? please help, I like my privacy but ,I dont want to make mistakes. Thanks

Then go to GOAL.org and a local FFL and find out. M4C not the base of knowledge for all things MA guns laws, which are confusing and illogical and not Constitutional.
