Rebuilding an antique camp stove

Gentlemen,

I am almost done with the vinegar/salt water soak on my dad's antique 3 burner propane camp stove. It was painted at one time. But it eventually allowed a lot of rust to accumulate and eventually foul up the burners. What do I paint this appliance with? Krylon high temp, stove black, etc??? I have fond memories of my dad using this with our white wall tent. My kids will experience it soon enough. I would recommend a high temp ceramic coating like Ceracote. Glacier black can take up to 1800-2000 degrees. Supposed to hold up to rapid temp changes as well, like accidentally dumping water on your hot stove.

Ahh! Ceracote was not considered. But very viable. Great suggestion.

Cerakote would be an excellent way to go if ok spending a couple hundred bucks+, hi temp grill paint would be a lot cheaper.

Bacon grease….

After consulting with a local paint expert, decided to go with Sheffield pot belly black brush on enamel. He swears by it. No primer needed for a cast iron application. I will find once I find a can.
