I'm thinking about getting a BCM 16" mid-length upper assembly and the next issue is which lower. Does the mid-length run on a carbine or rifle buffer? Ron

I run mine with a carbine buffer ST T2 or H2 both run great I also use a Springco blue carbine spring I would go BCM lower also Black Rain makes nice billet lowers I just got one Most lowers are about the same roll marks are different Pick your flavor
Daniel Defense.
I'm thinking the BCM lower as well. They show to be "in stock" on their website, but the upper just went to "out of stock". I have Colt lowers (carbine and rifle) that I considered using, but would prefer a dedicated lower.. Ron
I'm not sure when Grant will be back in stock, but I would order a BCM lower from him. I bought a Blem lower which shipped fast and cheap. The blemish was some minor scratches above the trigger guard...I will definitely by another.
I mated both my BCM uppers with LMT defender lowers and the fit is supperb.
They don't?...

Yep, and I'll probably be hitting Grant up for a blemished lower next week :D Good luck on your build.
Kokopelli,
Most lowers are the same and there are numerous threads about this. Additionally if you wish to conduct business with Grant it would probably be better if you sent him a PM or an email.
This way both sides can ensure that they are getting the right information.
Actually, they do not sell lowers AT THIS TIME. They may change that policy in the future (according to a little birdy in my ear).
I think it all depends on the market for complete rifles. When that dies down some, I suspect that they will again sell lowers. Though that is just my opinion and not based on much of anything.

Here's the spec sheet on a BCM Mid-Length carbine. http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-M...pany-s/142.htm
My mistake... My original question was regarding the carbine lower or rifle lower and not actually regarding which brand of lower. I guess it skewed off topic.. I assumed that any further communication regarding buying one would be off-line. I should have asked him for the quote off-line. Ron
I read somewhere else that BCM blems were no more. Just curious why this is.
