Can you only put the Noveske KX3 Flash Suppressor on a SBR?
You can put it on whatever you want, but I believe it's designed and intended for short barrels. I don't think you would see any gain on a longer barrel. It would just be heaiver, more expensive, and in my opinion generally look funny.

thanks for the info!!
i've heard that they can be very useful when shooting in a group...
in terms of noise redirection that is....
Very true if your battle buddy is real close.
I also found out that is works very well with your combat camel:

makes me want a camel...
...a battle camel....
are the kx3's legal in california?
I want to buy you a month supply of ramen noodles for posting that battle camel. I've begun storing water in back out of adoration.
But hey, is that definitely KX? Kinda looks like a bulgarian?
That is a true KX3. I had an earlier version but it blew out during some full auto fire. Noveske sent me a replacement at no charge, and stated that his first version did have a flaw in the design. The new one ran great.
BTW, camels have very bad breath...
Are you saying that is you on top of the battle camel?
If so, your one month reward of ramen noodles just went up to two months and i'll throw in some crystal light.

That photo was taken last year just outside of Tallil, in southern Iraq. The range we used back then was outside the base. The locals would hang around to collect our brass and give camel rides.
Here is another pic from the same location. This one was for Mark Larue, who provided my team with a bunch of gear to use. I am showing how to use his sling.

The Noveske KX3 and the original Noveske KFH were designed to be used on SBRs. According to John Noveske, there are no functioning issues running them on 16" barrels, but the longer barrel wasn't the intended purpose for the design. I have examples of both and they do indeed perform as intended on SBRs. I tried one briefly on one of my 16" barrels, because someone else had asked me this same question. I had heard of alleged functioning problems on 16" bbls, but no one was able to provide first hand reports that could be verified. This prompted my call to John and my subsequent, albeit brief, test.
