I have only bought a couple mags from ProMag but have had a failure rate of 50%. That seems to be about the norm for ProMag stuff.

20 round PMAGS work. Despite my distain for Bushmaster, they have quality 10 round steel magazines.
NHMTG makes magazines for Colt, as does OKAY. These three MFGs sell the BEST 20rd magazines on the market. NHMTG 20rd mags from 44Mag are my magazine preference.

44mag.com seems to have some very good deals, thanks for the hook-up. Anybody try the ASC stainless mags? It appears that the 10 round and 5 round versions are the same housing size, would this be correct?
A 5 can be made from a 10, as a true 5 round would be up in the magwell somewhere unaccessable without an even larger floorplate (which they do make) than what the 10 requires.
There are also 5 and 10 round mags made from basically plugged 20 and 30 round magazines.
2 cents:
I wouldn't frig with any type steel magazine unless it was specifically the old and difficult to obtain UK version, which you wouldn't use anyway because its a 30 round body.
I favour a 10 for the bench
Lancer L5 has a compact 10 rounder. If these are as tough as the 30's I have they should be gtg...
I had bad luck with 20rd PMags recently. I purchased them new about a year ago and they worked fine for about 600-700 rounds, but then one day I had a couple complete fail-to-feed. It behaved as if the mag wasn't even in the gun when it cycled--but it was toward the end of the mag. It happened twice that day and I stopped using them.
I tried some Lancer L5AWM translucent smoke 20 round mags and they seem to work fine, but time will tell--so far I have about 200-300 rounds through the 3 that I have.
I also have some Colt 20 rounders I will try eventually too.
I would stay away from the 20rd PMags, personally.
