If you could do one in the Northern VA area I know many of us here would sign up for it. Very interested.

Dean Caputo puts on an excellent two-day course open to non-LEs. Several of the Clan attended one between two EAG Carbine Operator Classes. His big selling point was that the class was about keeping the gun running, not disassembling an A2 rear sight.
IG: You might do a thread search for forum members' comments on this class.
i dont think im a moron for voting that most civy's do not need to take a course.
I should have had a course before I built half a dozen stupid ones, learned from my mistakes and went a different direction.
I think this is a great idea and one that the training industry NEEDS. I have no doubt that this could become a great business venture.
What type of facilities would you need? Would there be a need for any live fire (for problem solving / testing etc)? What size classes are you thinking? What type of tools would be required to attend?
I'd jump on this in a heartbeat provided the cost was reasonable and I didn't have to drive to far.
I've built lowers without any problems but even though I have the technical skills to to build an upper, I've been reluctant to do so without some expert guidance.
I really hope this materializes into reality
IG this is a great idea. I would definitely attend if we could get enough people in Texas. I am in Houston but would drive to Dallas\Ft Worth, Austin or San Antonio.
Dammit! We need more Midwest guys.
Unless all you Texans/southwesterners wanna road trip here...
