I must admit there is a topic over on LF about a shipment of LWRC's going overseas that none worked well. And a few others who had the same experience, butthis is not the topic at hand.

I got the replacement today. To get anywhere, I had to email corporate (yes, they actually read their emails). I received a call from the manager yesterday saying corporate gave the go-ahead for the exchange. Everything went very smoothly today.
While it wasn't the smoothest return I've ever done, I think they've finally done right on their part (exactly 6 days after the problem).
Please leave LWRC out of this discussion and let's focus on issue at hand.
This was going to be my argument if SW pointed out the signs. I can understand not wanting to deal with buyers remorse on ammo and firearms sales.
The new one appears to be flawless. I went over it, and over, and over it more looking for problems, and I could find none. They were kind enough to let me fully field-strip it. If I have time to hit the range tomorrow, I'll see how it runs. I want to keep it close to stock.
Good for you!
Problem solved. No need to beat it.
