Phil,
I've got both Centurion and Noveske CL barrels and I can't tell a difference accuracy wise. I also have DD and from my samples I get better pure accuracy out of the Centurions and Noveske's than my BCM's and DD's although all are more than accurate enough for their intended purpose. I haven't owned a Colt in many years so can't really comment on them. If you want the best of both worlds look at the Noveske fluted SS barrels. They are fairly lightweight and shoot great. Mine is the 14.5" with pinned Surefire device and for the first mag or two it is as accurate as my 16" Recon.

**** TopNotchTactical!!!!
Check out Tactical Gear Group for Noveske. The owner is an LEO and great guy to shoot the shit with. His outlook is sell for a few bucks lower than the others and sell more volume. Good deals on Noveske and about everything else he carries.

When I finally put together my first Centurion Upper on a Noveske Chainsaw Gen2 (G&R LPK) was the first moment I realized I needed to start selling off lesser carbines.
For both, the 16" is the best all around barrel they sell, so the Recon was the right choice.
