Almost every manufacturer claims this, even scumbag companies like DPMS, RRA, Olympic Arms, etc.
In reality, it's almost always because they sold a couple rifles to some division of the military or feds for training and/or testing purposes. I somehow doubt any special operation units are kicking in doors running an RGun AR15.
I would specifically ask them. Also, they were probably need a DUNS or CAGE code as well.
They would probably sell the DoD toilet paper and then claim being a DoD contractor.
I wouldn't buy anything AR related from them.
From the one transaction I had with them, I'd guess they provided sensitivity training to R. Lee Ermey.
Not the most congenial bunch I've dealt with. My 7.62 ap4 upper was the wrong height, and the sling mount was bent all to hell. Sent it back, they agreed to fix it.
Then they called me and wanted to know what the hell was wrong this time. I said I don't know, hadn't got it back yet. Turned out they had shipped it back to themselves.
So I am (or we are) supposed to be impressed that they contract to DoD?
Iraqgunz nailed it.
