Yeah, except nobody is going to convince me that their first/only AR is NEVER going to need to be pressed into SD/HD duty. If you already have a quality gun, then go screw around....I could care less at that point.
As far as RRA quality: oversized gas ports (needless additional recoil), non TDP bolts/carriers, they lack h-buffers from the factory, they sometimes chrome line their barrels, they occasionally have true 5.56x45mm NATO chambers (watch for popped primers), and they are WAAAAAAY over priced.
Take a look at the Rainier Arms RUC, Daniel Defense M4v7, any BCM rifle/upper, LMT, Colt 6920MP, etc.
Do yourself a favor and steer clear of RRA. You can get a used KAC SR15e3 for the price that RRA charges for some of their guns. :rolleyes:
