I've looked at it. It has said coming soon for a longtime. I want to get something by January. I've been looking to do this for a while. I think a 1-6 would be perfect but the ones that are out there are just out of my price range to get a quality scope
I've shot a TR24G and liked the scope. Good glass and it seemed well built. Wasn't mine so I was very gentle with it. The green triangle was pretty fast at close range, but I found it to be a PITA at range. The HUGE vertical stadia just obscures too much real estate for my taste. Bear in mind I spent most of my time behind traditional mil-dot scopes so here is a large amount of personal preference and "experience" at play when coming to that conclusion. Can it be effectively used at the 300 give or take range- definitely. Are there better reticles for doing so - definitely. I am hoping that they snag one of the ACOG reticles (either chevron or horse shoe dot) replace the BDC with a Mil-Scale and move forward.
IMO best bet is to think about how you will use the rifle most of the time. If you will shoot at close range and use it mostly like a red dot with the occasional long shot the the TR24 is perfect. If you intend to do most shooting at distance with an occasional holy crap kind of short range then the SWFA might be better. But then the 3-9/2.5-10 with offset will still plague your decision making.
I've briefly used the Triijicon and it did great for me!
Swfa has a leupold exclusive, 1-6, spr firedot. It's hunting, not tactical version, but it's 14.5 oz and $950. Just throwing that out there.

I have a TR24. It is a nice scope, good glass. For CQB style stuff on large targets @ 1x, its REALLY fast. I have found no difference in speed between an Aimpoint and the TR24. The illumination is excellent, it takes a very large difference in light level to cause the triangle to dim appreciably. In fact, in outdoor conditions, the reticle borders on too bright (at least for precision shooting). The tritium illumination is also very good and I have had no problem seeing it at night.
IMO the TR24 has 2 big weaknesses: 1) no ranging, and a potentially obstructive post, and 2) less precise reticle.
Also, the triangle reticle is not for everybody. I grew up shooting scoped 22's and I had to adapt to placing target at the tip of the triangle instead of putting it on top.
It is too bad that Trijicon can't get their head out their butt and put the TA33 horseshoe reticle into a TR24. It would take over the market!
It would be interesting to do a side by side comparison with the SWFA.
