D'oh!,
Sorry Ned. Didn't mean to pour salt in the wound.
The Converters get "converted" and the precious metals send to China etc to become our fancy new cell phones etc.
A good day at the parking lot keeps the local "entrepreneur" high for a week!!

Here's something that has gone around a little bit. (be sure to click around the site too). Not a bad concept but could use better execution.

Personally if I'm dumping that kind of money to buy such a thing I will build it myself.

if i could afford it, I would get this
I Emailed around to try and get a pic of the bolt and nut setup I saw but to no avail. It was pretty rough as I recall. I looked at optimizing it today and came up with what amounts to the Colt commerical approach but adapted to non-Colt commercial upper/lower sets, and not screwdriver-friendly. I think chances of a 'bag having the right wrench for this are slim, but not impossible. Still it's better in this application than the standard TD pin.

Might be a market out there. I can imagine its a simple solution for those who have their rifles in their personal vehicles.
