Thanks.

Seems to be a fair analogy. There's also the rest of the higher tier rollmarks (LMT, Noveske, BCM, etc.) but I'm not familiar with their logos.
Yes everyone wants the dancing pony on their rifle and those that don't are generally jealous and justify their purchase to
themselves and everyone else...unless of course their rifle begins with N4 nomenclature, or has a knight on it, and a few others... They are more like a Ferrari or Lamborghini. Haha.
I guess I'm in Roll Mark heaven, as I own 2 Colt LE6920.
Until now though, I've never taken the time to notice them...
By M4A1, do you mean military?
"M4A1" is stamped om Colt's SOCOM-type 6920's. It's uber-cool.
After getting my SOCOM I was a little disappointed that is was marked "M4A1" rather than "M4". But hey, if "M4A1" is uber-cool, I'm in.
As already mentioned, it matters to some--like those of us that want real quality and milspec rifles. Its like having that Pony Logo on a Ferrari.
I definitely don't want a DPMS rollmark on any rifle I own..
M16 and Full-Auto would be even better
What's wrong with the M4A1? Its actually a better rollmark IMO.
IIRC the M4A1 in the Military still had the Full-Auto compared to the M4A3 that is changed to the 3-round burst.
