It's good to be in one good company. So I'll definitely look into this. Which model is everyone using?
Oh snap, just Youtubed the instructions, hacking metal is not my bag. May have to slink my way back to DD Omega 9.
This is the rail that came with my new BCM Mid-16 Mod 2. That's really cool because it was the rail I was going to get anyway if I bought the bare upper.
I'm no expert but it seems like a quality unit. I think it speaks well for the rail quality if BCM is sending it out on factory built rifles b
I have three sets of the MI GEN 2 carbine hand guards on my rifles. None of the attachments that are on them wiggle loose. the guards fit snug and don't rotate. As with anything, buy what feels good to you, Daniel, centurion or MI are all quality furniture. I do suggest getting the Magpul rail ladders for the comfort factor and to not have the edges of the rails snagging on anything.
Whos the cheapest on these rails? BCM?
Which length? BCM has carbine length for 124.95 plus shipping. Amazon is 128.07 with free shipping. Midlength are a little more.
I know it's unrelated to the G2 Drop-in, but I had an old One Piece FF T-series 12" rail that I never mounted anything on. I finally put an AFG2 on there and noticed the rails were machined a bit too big. I emailed Midwest Industries and told them about the issue... within a day their customer service rep emailed me and told me to ship it to them and they'd take care of it.
I got an email within hours of them receiving my package... he said their gauge would not fit over my rail and that he'd be sending me a new handguard. Not only did I get the handguard, they included a new barrel nut and trim ring free of charge. I was very impressed by their customer service and will purchase from them in the future.
Yes carbine... iam gona order from bcm and get the inforce hsp rail light. Seems like a good set up...hope it will fit my M-400...
sorry ive been running elect. to my shop and have been outside for a week or so....
I have a G2 SS Series One Piece FF and love it. Good bang for the buck.
I don't personally have any use with these, but I have seen them and did some research when they came out and they seem pretty GTG.
