Whenever you troubleshoot you have to narrow down the variables. If you don't follow the basic steps (use lube, good magazines, etc..) you will simply be chasing your tail.
I actually talked about this in a sticky when I tell people you need to provide us information. Otherwise we can play pin the tail on the donkey all day long.
I doubt Spike's will tell you the gas port size, but in the event that they do, it will help. I would probably get a real H buffer and lose that ST-2 crap.
