Yeah. Oops.
Hmmm. I'm trying to make sense of that.
Nope. Not getting it. What am I missing?

Right. Doesn't make sense to me either. I thought heavier the buffer, slower bcg action.
Problem is I can't shoot to test it or 6 months until stamp gets in.
Sure you can. Just buy, borrow or build a pistol lower. I'm willing to bet he actually went to a lighter buffer to get it to work. Find a scale, the carbine (no markings) buffer should weigh right at 3.0 oz.Quote:

Well, thanks all for the advice. I decided not to take any chances, as this will be my SHTF rifle. So went to the LGS that has an AR armor on staff.
He installed a BCM mil-spec buffer tube, BCM castle nut, H buffer, BCM carbine spring, and staked the nut properly. Also went with the B5 buttstock. $150 and i'll sleep better at night.
Also picked up a 10-rounder for my HK45c. Love it!
Noveske builds that rifle with an H2 buffer. I run H2 buffers on both of my 11.5 SBRs and they cycle PMC ammo well. I generally use the heaviest buffer that will reliably cycle my weakest ammo. Why did your armorer decide to use an H buffer? Did he test it to see if an H2 would work?
Throw all the tard parts right into the trash or put them up on GB.
Buy once, cry once. Do it right the first time.
