I noticed a few days ago that BCM is now offering DPMS, STAG, RRA and some other "bad names" parts kits.
Have they sold out on us?

They've offered them for quite awhile. They're only now starting to be back in stock.

As long as they clearly label it as such who cares?
Isn't this a deliberate repeat of a previously-killed (with prejudice) thread?
Opinions and preferences may differ as to which LPK is the best for a particular application, but most would find it utterly laughable that BCM has "sold out" or anything of the sort. You likely need to learn just a bit more about LPKs, and worry just a bit less about BCM.

Im not claiming they are misleading or mislabeling anything. There is a few videos that have been around quite a while where the main man at BCM is saying that they "only offer the best"...
They've offered them for awhile. Don't like it... Don't buy it.

Not entirely sure, as I wasn't the staffer behind the action. I just remember seeing it moved to the Trash can last night. Normally, that would have been accompanied by a quick note in the thread (which you obviously didn't see), or a sidebar PM.
The larger point is that a typical Stag LPK is pretty solid, even if we might prefer Colt or G&R some other vendor. There are companies out there producing less-than-desirable rifles who nevertheless manage to get many of the individual small parts and components right. It's true that you can't very well compensate for substandard barrel steel or botched assembly techniques (depending upon the fault), but pins and screws and triggers and such aren't usually a significant point of failure, even in these guns.

Bravo Company USA is a retail outlet. They sell things from many different manufacturers, including BCM.
Bravo Company Manufacturing—which you refer to as BCM—makes guns ’n such. When referring to their products, they likely say that they offer only the best. Many agree.
Definitely no note as I clicked "refresh" and it was simply GONE. Leading me to believe I "timed out" or something. No PM either...
I dont doubt parts kits are no big deal as far as making a rifle go down. What I was wondering is other peoples opinion on doing something like carrying another competitors parts kit that is viewed on this forum and others as "sub standard" at the same time as saying you only offer the best?
Mall Ninja,
Your post was deleted not because of the question, but because of the way it was delivered.
Your commenting and beating of the drum only reinforces that you don't know what you don't know. Here's a newsflash. CMT which is the parent company of Stag makes parts for various companies in the industry.
The hammer and triggers used in DPMS guns are also used in other companies stuff. All the minor components such as springs, detents, etc.. for the most part are the same. Very rarely do you hear of fire control components self destructing.
The bottom line is that if you don't like the components, don't buy them.
I can't figure why the OP would even post this.
As far as selling out on "us", we have no idea who you are, you are not an "us". Once you are known in the community or board you are an "us", until then, you are a random poster. Starting topics like this will get you known, but not in a good way. Why not kick back and just read for awhile, then post and share your insight on topics you are familiar with?
How about business decisions and a business model that you probably shouldn't question since it's not your company? Not everyone wants a premium kit or is brand loyal. Sometimes people will go cheap and this is BCM selling what the public requests. No different than Rainier Arms, Brownells, Rifle Gear, Midway, Palmetto State, G&R Tac, DSG or any number of companies that sell supposed "lesser quality" items as well as high quality items. If it's what the buyer wants, the company is well within their rights to sell same or risk the money going to a competitor. It's called "selling what the public demands."
I think we can lock this thread as it is serving no purpose.
