Dissipator Options, mostly the barrel
So with the great fall in prices recently and already having two very nice, squared-away rifles, I've got the itch to build a KISS, range beater. I have a PSA lower and LPK. I'm wanting to try out the fixed MOE skeleton stock. For the upper, I want a lightweight with a 12" handguard and a fixed FSB. For the sake of keeping costs down and since I already have two other rifles with rails, I want to go with MOE handguards. Not enjoying the cramped style of a 7" set of handguards, I was thinking of going with a dissipator with 12" MOE handguards. I have no problem chopping an FSB, but I don't have a way to drill a new FSB for taper pins @ the end of the barrel to make my own dissipator. ADCO charges $130 for the service. Even then, I've read some about strange barrel tapers making it an issue to do so.
My question is, does anyone make a LW dissipator barrel or URG?
Thanks!

Spikes makes a dissipator upper available through AIM Surplus. I've been on the notify list for over 6 months now :-(.

When it comes to a dissy, my primary concern would be port size. Does anyone know what the ideal port size should be?

My bad, I thought we were talking about using an actual rifle length gas system. Nevermind!
