What stuff does BCM make that uses YFS screws? If you mean rails and stuff, ok. But not their carrier key screws.

Am I too late to say '**** China, and all their shittily made crap'?
Nesard (Sherluk/Model 1) used to sell Chinese AR parts back in the early 90s. They stunk of that nasty Chinese cosmoline, and dimensions were all over the place, as well as hardness. It's a concern that they might make their way into the supply chain, which is why I try to buy all my parts from places like Brownells, that have a direct pipeline into Colt or wherever.
It wasn't too long after I put together my first piece of shit from a kit back in 93 or so that I figured out parts is not parts.
Well, so does American food... Foster Farms just last week! Indeed, when it comes to consistency, it should be pointed out that we Americans were also once known to specialize in making really s****y cars.
You guys are making a grave mistake in underestimating the Chinese.
There is a ban on the importation of small arms from PRC (as far as I know or at least "assault weapons"). Considering that this administration has blocked the importation of M1 Garands and carbines from South Korea, I don't see them allowing the importation of any Chinese type AR's into the U.S., whether they are complete or partially complete. Of course, I could be wrong about this.
I have neither the time nor the desire to prove your point for you. That is your job if you wish this to be a productive debate and not simply attacks on me.
I am comfortable in my position. Are you?
I have seen numerous examples of China's low manufacturing quality for over 20 years. Show me the evidence that
the quality of their products is on a par with western made items, and I will have no "ignorant convictions."
Instead of wasting several posts in your obviously butthurt indignation you could have simply provided a link to an article written by an SME praising China's quality manufacturing practices. The fact that you continue to simply contradict everything I say with obstinate personal jabs would indicate that you cannot back up your position.
You, on the other hand, have already conceded that I am correct about the low quality of Chinese manufacturing in the past. Therefore I am secure in that position in the absence of more recent contradictory evidence---which you either cannot or will not provide.
Instead of providing evidence to back up your position, you feel compelled to attack me personally, which leads me to believe you have some vested interest or inherent bias in the subject, and that is why I can't take your word for it.
Do you think that just because you sit there pounding out words on a keyboard that I will immediately change my mind?
I suppose next you will respond with an attack that I should search for the evidence myself.
If that is the case, I repeat that since it is you making a claim, you should provide a link to your evidence as a way of productively adding to this discussion for the benefit of other members, if not me.
I have no motivation to look for such evidence and prove your point, since I am comfortable that avoiding Chinese firearms is the safest course of action.
Get it? I don't need to do anything different to be satisfied in my position, but you do need to provide evidence of Chinese manufacturing quality if you intend to convince me.
I think simply you don't have anything you can offer to back up your position, and that is why you are resorting to insults.
