Shortly after the Walther PPQ came out, I bought a BladeTech OWB for it. The gun never really "clicked" into it well, like all my other BladeTechs. Although I never actually dumped the gun, I emailed them about 4 months after I bought it that the holster wasn't performing up to my expectations. They apologized all over the place, had me ship it back to them and told me they would either re-mold it or replace it. About two weeks later I received a brand new one from them with a TekLok attached (I had sent it bare) and another apology. No complaints from me. I consider that to be good customer service.
I have emailed and left a voicemail with customer service to contact me with information. Im hoping that they will offer to replace the parts that are damaged caused by their holster failing.
rocketman:
the screws backed themselves out and allowing the holster and gun fall off of my belt and gun to come out of the holster and skid across the pavement knocking a chunk out of my front trijicon night sights and several chunks out of the rosewood grips.
Thats a tough one right there. If the fasteners or kydex had broken there might be some merit to your complaint. Mechanical fasteners loosen all the time, you should have been more diligent in checking over your gear.
You may get lucky and they pony up something.

I believe that Blade-Tech also recommends that you adjust your holster for your gun, and then Locktite in the screws....
I've used Blade-Teech holsters for years, for both carry and competition, for both autopistols and revolvers. Most of mine are IWBs. I had a small crack develop in one at the sweatshield/holster body junction, unnoticed by me-when I'd brought it into Blade-Tech to have a gripper replaced, they noticed it-and immediately made up a new holster for me on the spot.
Whenever I've had a belt loop gripper wear out (which takes years) they immediately replace it, at no charge. Superb customer service, and great holsters.
Best, Jon
Blue or even red loctite on all kydex retention / tension screws.
Yikes! So...you're saying that the blue LocTite that you applied failed?
If you're saying that your holster fell off because the mounting screws loosened, forget it. That's not BladeTech's problem...it's on you for being inattentive to your gear.
It looks like the OP wasn't diligent in maintaining his gear. I'd say this is on him, not Blade-Tech. Here is another reminder to check your gear once in a while. For future reference, blue loctite is your friend. I have a bunch of Blade Tech OWB gear and never had an issue, though I do loctite the screws the day I receive them.
