The SS has conventional but still very bright illumination, and a FFP MRAD based reticle. Construction is very solid. I would rate its glass as slightly behind the Razor, but still very good. You can often find them used at Sniper's Hide for quite a bit less, and SWFA offers an any-owner lifetime warranty on these.
Leupold raised prices for 2014 and it's been getting a lot of grumbling on other forums. Their prices weren't very competitive to begin with.Quote:
