New Build needing budget Optics any suggestions?

If you're patient and search the forums, you can find Aimpoint PROs for under $400. I picked up a Primary Arms Micro for $65 - with QD mount! - on a Black Friday sale; Bushmaster had them on sale for less than that recently but are out of stock. I also own a Vortex Strikefire that I bought on sale.

Of the three, without a doubt I would get another PRO - the battery life and optics are outstanding compared to the other two.

Lucid also has a Microdot for about $200 (on Amazon anyway.) You can find reviews by searching Google (Amazon and TOS have reviews.)

The only optic cheaper than an Aimpoint pro I would consider is the Primary Arms micro. Mine is on the 15-22 after I moved up to Aimpoint and Trijicon. With variables, I tried the cheaper Burris and Nikon 1-4 and didn't like reticle or glass. Good deals can be had on used 5xx series Eotechs too.

Sorry. I built it for 500. I plan on shooting it a lot but want to build another one. I've seen some deals but as with anything I heard both good and bad. Lol

If I were you, I'd start saving a little for Black Friday - there are always some good deals on optics, and your money looks nicer in your wallet than in someone else's, doesn't it?

In the mean time, use your iron sights - there's nothing wrong with becoming proficient with them.
