Interesting. I just recently got a BCM 14.5 middy and had always heard about their preference for full power ammo. Sort of like the SR15. I set up the new BCM with the A5H2 and Springco Green spring. It's extremely smooth, but I haven't tested it's limits yet. I've got a A5H3 that I planned on trying with it just out of curiosity.
ETA: I noticed that you mentioned Tula. I had a failure to lock back with Tula in this set up a couple of days ago.
Just as Jaxman discovered in his experience, don't underestimate the importance of polishing the bearing surfaces of the Bolt Carrier. You'd be shocked the role that friction plays. Phosphate on rough anodized aluminum is gritty. Try polishing those areas as proscribed in other threads and then using the H4. You might be surprised.
Mtdawg, have you polished the bearing surfaces on the BC as mentioned above?
Well, at least he's honest! Lol
So the AR10 RE is is the same thing as the 6 position A5 RE? Every other site seems to say yes, but Rainier's doesn't really indicate that.
