Aries Defense SCR ( AR + 870 = ? )

This think looks very much like an AR meets 870, complete with crossbolt safety. Apparently it uses a shortened carrier and an angled link to work with the stock angle. Anyone seen this? Could be the best looking option for those in communist states.

I can't wait for one. I fondled a prototype a few years ago at SHOT. It felt pretty handy.
The lower looks completely redesigned. I hope it does take actual 870 stocks, the magpul 870 stock might look good.

That is a solid point. Maybe an ambi charging handle & train strong hand. The better idea would by a side charging upper like 2Vets Arms puts out.
Also by putting the trigger farther back, it doesn't look like most fingers could reach the mag release without changing their grip.

Eta: it doesn't look like the 2VA bcg would work with the SCR lower.
