I have 3 springco greens and 2 colt rifle springs for A5 systems. Either works just fine and would in your build.
I have a Sprinco green w/ an A5H4 in a M&P15 carbine.... never had a single problem & runs 100%. But these rifles are known to be overgassed.
Hmmm....previous Sprinco threads.

Thanks for all the good info.
I ordered the Green Spring for my A5 setup..........will give it a shot and see how it does!
Thanks again!
What kind of round counts are you guys getting out of the Sprinco Green spring?
I'm using both, and will continue using them for the foreseeable future.

I have a dedicated small port SBR and while it would cycle pmc bronze even with an A5H4, surprised me, but I would get some failure to lock back even on an A5H1 when dry.
I found a thread here about a similar issue with SR15 uppers on A5 lowers and people reporting the issue was resolved by going back to a standard spring. Thus far, few hundred rounds, no failure to lock back. I still don't get it because a sprinco is supposed to have the same strength etc, just longer life, at least when I asked them about it
I also use it with a BCM 11.5, works great
