Tapping Rear Of Lower For Set Screw- What Tap Size?
I'm looking into re-configuring an AR pistol with a rifle RE. To do this, I need to tap the rear of the lower to hold the push pin retainer pin & spring hole. I'm looking into the rifle RE with two goals in mind-
First, to have a longer RE to better support the arm brace when used in a position I find most comfortable for me
Second, since I'm going with a longer RE anyway, I figured I might as well try the rifle RE to soften recoil
Does anyone know what tap size is needed to tap the hole so a set screw can be used to hold the retainer pin & spring in place?
Thanks
