Anyone here used a can on their elw barrels? Tried doing research and couldn't find anything on it.
How is the accuracy? Is there a ton of POI shift?

I don't have one, and this is more of a clarification question - what sort of can are you looking at running?
If I wanted a handy suppressed setup, I wouldn't hesitate to look at an ELW/KMR upper and a Trek-T; but hanging an SDN-7.62 off a 16" ELW one isn't going to produce fantastic precision. It's more of a case where tailoring the host to the can is more logical than trying to match a can to a host.
Understandable.
Looking at getting a specwar/saker or some other semi affordable can in the distant future. Probably going to be about a year before I can afford one, then knowing the ATF another 40 years for the damn paper work.

I believe markm used a can on his ELW barrel?
I have a 14.5 ELW suppressed. See my last post here.. https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...ghtweight-SBRs. Anything specific you looking for. Im pretty sure it was Pappabears?? and Markm and him were shooting it.. You can PM me also.
Here is Pappabears and Markm results.. https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...els-14-5/page3
Just ordered a 16" elw and gas block. Now I'm broke again! Woo-hoo!

Just made it out to the range and I got a pic of a target shot with my 14.5" ELW-F upper with and without a Surefire 212. The shots with lines through them are without the suppressor and the others are with. Pardon my crappy shooting skills.

P.S. OnTarget says the first group is 3.5 MOA and the second is 2.3. I'll take it with crappy Federal bulk pack.
Thanks for the picture. Doesn't seem to be any appreciable shift. Not near as bad as I thought it would be.
